connect aws using cloudformation this guide walks you through setting up your aws integration with amberflo using cloudformation start the integration navigate to the integrations page by selecting it from the left hand navigation under the system section, or use https //ui amberflo io/it spend/integrations/active click on the catalog tab at the top of the page select connect your aws cloudformation stack to amberflo from the list of integrations this will launch the integration wizard configure the stack choose i want to create a new cloudformation stack you will then see a form with five fields bucket name must be globally unique across all aws accounts prefix the path within the bucket to store the export, similar to the idea of a containing folder stack name the name for the cloudformation stack in your aws account export name the name of the export in aws region the region of the s3 bucket in aws all fields except for bucket name will have suggested values you may change them if needed, but it’s important that the values you provide here are the same values that aws will use, as amberflo relies on them to configure and validate the integration once you’re satisfied with the values, click save launch cloudformation after saving, a popup titled create stack on aws will appear click go to aws , and a new browser tab will open if you’re not already logged in to the aws console, log in now you will be redirected to the cloudformation console with the stack configuration prepopulated click create stack and wait for the deployment to complete successfully activate the integration return to the amberflo browser tab you will now see a row for the integration listed under the active tab on the integrations page click on the integration row to open the details review the configuration json, which includes the values you previously entered at the bottom of the page, toggle activate configuration to enable the integration if there are any issues, they will be displayed at this stage final notes it may take up to 24 hours for aws to finalize the connection amberflo will notify you by email as soon as the data becomes available
