the resource usage page provides real time visibility into how resources are being consumed across your business units it is especially useful for tracking on premises infrastructure metered through amberflo and understanding usage trends over time this page allows you to explore data across all meters in your environment and filter by business unit, dimensions, and time periods to surface the most relevant insights overview to access the page, navigate to resource usage under the it spend analytics section of the platform or use https //ui amberflo io/it spend/usage analytics by default, the page opens on the summary tab the summary tab displays usage trends for up to eight meters at a time each graph shows the usage over the last 7 days you can adjust the timeframe or refine your view by selecting resource meters choose which meters to display business unit filter usage by a specific business unit date range choose from 7, 14, or 30 days click view detail on any graph to open the detail view for that specific meter detail view the detail tab gives you more advanced tools to break down and analyze usage data for a selected meter from here, you can business units select business units choosing business units from the drop down will filter the data and only show data for the selected business units by default it will show the data for all business units total across business units this will aggregate the data for the business units selected group by business unit choosing this will seperate the data based on business unit and you will see entries on the graph and rows on the table for each business unit you have selected or all of them by default view totals or breakdowns choose whether to show total usage across all selected business units or a separate breakdown by each add dimensions add one or more dimensions to group usage data (for example, by model or team id) you can also filter specific dimension values adjust time aggregation choose how to group data over time hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly select date range options include 7, 30, 60, and 90 days, or you can define a custom date range select chart type choose how you want the data visualized line chart (default) bar chart horizontal bar stacked bar below the graph, a table displays the results of your query each row represents a specific business unit or grouping based on selected dimensions, while columns represent the chosen aggregation period the table includes percentage change indicators to help highlight usage trends export and save views you can export the data
