Delete a meter definition by ID

Permanently deletes the specified meter definition. This action cannot be undone.

Only meters with OPEN locking status can be deleted. Meters in other states (CLOSE_TO_DELETIONS, CLOSE_TO_CHANGES, DEPRECATED) cannot be deleted and must be transitioned to DEPRECATED status instead.

Returns the deleted meter object for confirmation.

idstringUnique identifier of the meter to delete. Must exist in your account and have OPEN locking status.
