Metering Guardrails
Default Limits
Limits are defined per meter and scale linearly with the number of meters.
Feature | Limit / Description | Comments |
|---|---|---|
Meter events ingestion | 1M events per hour per meter | Standard ingestion rate per meter |
Meter events ingestion (roll-up) | 100M events per hour per meter | Roll-up meters aggregate events into hourly intervals (e.g., sum), increasing ingestion throughput. |
Usage query rows | 100K rows per query (~6MB limit) | |
Event cancellation | 1 batch (up to 250 rules) per 12 hours | Batch operation for filtering events |
Backfills | Up to 60 days | Historical data ingestion supported |
Tuning Guardrails
Amberflo is built with cloud-first scalability principles. These limits represent default guardrails to ensure consistent performance and reliability, and are not hard caps and can be increased by provisioning additional compute and memory.
